Yeah, I didn't realize how far ahead South Korea was above Japan, although I can see why from my own experience as well as the kinds of English education policies they have. The Japanese's biggest problem is trying to spell/ sound out everything using katakana.English has way more sounds than katakana can sound out; especially our consonant blends. The teaching is crappy! The teachers can't have no idea or pronoun antecedents---big problem!!!
