Yeah, I didn't realize how far ahead South Korea was above Japan, although I can see why from my own experience as well as the kinds of English education policies they have. The Japanese's biggest problem is trying to spell/ sound out everything using katakana.
English has way more sounds than katakana can sound out; especially our consonant blends.
The teaching is crappy! The teachers can't have no idea or pronoun antecedents---big problem!!!

Kudos! English education in Japan is horrible!
, I just had a teacher, last year, tell me"It's easier to teach them bad grammar than doing it properly--time-consuming." WTF!!!
